marcus d. harvey

marcus d. harvey, had his first experience traveling abroad this summer to Panama and it changed his views of the world and himself. He spent two weeks in Panama as a part of the Taller Portobelo Norte Summer Arts Colony, based in Portobelo, where he was an actor/writer artist in residence. This experience has opened his own world and allowed him to see himself as a true performer who will chase his passion. Originally from Halifax, NC, He now lives in Harlem and is currently a graduate student at the Gallatin School at NYU, where he is studying dramatic writing and performance. His thesis is a solo performance piece entitled, “BABA; A young black boys search for wholeness” in which he is writing about his search for his father.
