I have traveled the world and have never found a guidebook or website that provided all the travel information I wanted. I hope that TheBlackTraveler.com will become a resource for unique information for travelers like me looking for fun things to do and see in cities around the globe.
I have been to every continent except Antartica and I don’t think I will make it there. BUt I guess one should never say never. I am not an adventure traveler so I am not going to be seen hiking, climbing, jumping or camping anywhere! I do enjoy experiencing local foods, local music and local culture. A few hours people watching at a sidewalk cafe, relaxing at the beach or shopping at a local market is most likely a part of my travel itinerary in most destinations. I also love to find spas and other ways to relax when I get away. With long flights and the stress that airports put you thru, sometimes you need a spa day! When traveling I am an avid shopper, foodie and a bit of a hotel snob 
But I love to share my travel stories with others and I hope they help to inspire you to pack your bags and go!
Current Favorite Destinations: Rio De Janeiro and Salvador Brazil, , Rome Italy, London England, San Juan Puerto Rico, St. John USVI, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban South Africa and Bangkok Thailand.
